We care about Aflac’s policyholders affected by the recent weather:

To help provide relief for California policyholders residing in Santa Cruz County who were affected by the coastal storms, Aflac will provide a premium grace period starting Dec. 23, 2024, and ending Apr. 15, 2025. This grace period also provides an extension of filing deadlines for claims and leniency for any other action required under the policy. Aflac will provide a replacement copy of the policy upon request by the policyholder.

For Network Dental and Vision Members:

This grace period also provides an extension of filing deadlines for claims; relaxation of prior authorization, precertification, and referral requirements; access to appropriate out-of-network providers due to unavailability on in-network providers or the members’ displacement; and leniency for any other action required under the certificate. A replacement copy of the certificate will be provided upon request by the certificate holder. Affected members should contact Aflac Benefit Solutions (formerly Argus Dental and Vision) at 855-819-1873, Option 1, for assistance.

This grace period also provides an extension of filing deadlines for claims and leniency for any other action required under the policy. Aflac will provide a replacement copy of the policy upon request by the policyholder.

The 2024-2025 edition of the Aflac WorkForces Report is the result of annual surveys using a similar methodological approach.

  • Kantar conducted the employer survey online in the United States between June 6 and June 21, 2024, among employers at companies with at least three employees offering employee benefits. The results captured responses from 1,003 employers. A small sample of employers at companies with three to 49 employees that do not offer benefits was included as part of the sample to better understand this demographic. Quotas were applied to ensure it is representative of U.S. employers and to allow year-over-year trending. No estimates of theoretical sampling error can be calculated; a full methodology is available.
  • Kantar conducted the employee survey online in the United States between June 6 and July 10, 2024, among adults age 18 and older who are employed full or part time at a company with three or more employees. The results captured responses from 2,000 employees. A small sample of employees at very small companies (with one or two employees) were surveyed to better understand this demographic. Results were weighted and quotas were applied to ensure the sample was representative of the U.S. workforce and to allow year-over-year trending. No estimates of theoretical sampling error can be calculated; a full methodology is available.
