What do I need to qualify to become an Aflac agent?
Applicants should be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the U.S. without need of current or future employer sponsorship and able to pass a criminal background check. A positive can-do attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, prior sales or customer service experience is a plus. Once an offer is made and accepted, you will need to obtain your state insurance license.
How does the interview and hiring process work?
The local hiring team in your area will be in touch soon to schedule an interview. If an offer is made and accepted, the next step is acquiring your insurance license in your resident state. This entails approximately 30 hours of studying to pass your state insurance exam. Aflac will help guide you through this process. Some local Aflac offices may sponsor your access to study materials.
